In the stitching on previous simple coptic books, each climb utilizes a cattle stitch. The pattern is rather flat (see picture on the right, book on top). I modifed the stitching a little bit so that it's a little bit more elegant now (bottom book in the picture). Instead of a cattle stitch as being the climb, drop 2 sections then climb under the loop. It will create a rope-like result.
